Core values or what do you seek in a relationship? I value integrity, honesty, character. I value religious beliefs and family driven beliefs. In a relationship I’d say that I seek someone who’s more than anything self aware. Self aware of their own traumas and triggers. Self aware of their feelings and can understand how to self regulate and react positively in situations. Selflessness, empathy, humility to accept their own mistakes and therefore from others too. The real understanding that love is a choice, not a feeling. Ability to lean in into hard conversations and focus on the solutions more so than in the issue. Patience and tolerance. Vulnerability is a must!! Someone willing to take (calculated) risk in the relationship.
