I want to support Palestine but I know same sex activities are absolutely prohibited in Gaza and have gay friend who had to flee Hamas 3 years ago (way before what most people even know about Hamas). I feel conflicted, don’t know what to do…

I understand, they seem like the underdog but ultimately after significant research it’s pretty clear which side is better for the world. Hopefully after the war ends they will emulate Israel and become more progressive!
