~4 online interviews then ~6 interviews in person, on site. I didn't go through the process, but it seemed like a lot compared to other companies. They also don't tell you that field consultant involves sales.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 10 months. I interviewed at Ab Initio (Cape Town) in Feb 2024
Interview
There were numerous rounds and the process took longer than 10 months. I estimated I put in 60 hours of research, upskilling, presentations and hours spent in interviews with different employees.
The employees are delightful, warm and interesting and seem to genuinely care.
The first tech test is simple and doable.

Question 1
They were interested in how I would work in a flat structure with no real manager or people to manage.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Ab Initio (London, England) in Oct 2021
Interview
Initial HR Screening. About 45 minutes where they talk at length about the role and the company. Interview staples like "Tell me about yourself", "What are you looking for in a role" and "What is your idea of a Field Consultant". Then, you are questioned about your CV, and specifically aspects of it that relate to Ab Initio. So if you have SQL or C++ on their, make sure to brush up on that. Then you have a take home coding challenge, after which my application got rejected.
