The interview process felt demanding and impersonal. There were two tests, one of which required significant upfront studying just to pass. The Slack interview format felt especially disconnected: generic questions were sent every few minutes, with little room for real conversation or depth. There were no in-depth questions about the case study or the work that had to be shared upfront, which made the evaluation feel superficial.
The overall process was also extremely long. It took around two months before the first conversation even happened. After completing the process, there was no meaningful feedback, only a generic message stating they went with other candidates. For the amount of time and effort required, the lack of personalization and feedback was disappointing.
On a positive note, expectations were clearly set upfront, so you know exactly what you’re getting into before starting the process.
