I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Axon in Dec 2025
Interview
The interview was dominated by repetitive “risk management / situational” questions that felt more like checking boxes than assessing real engineering capability. Several prompts asked for examples of mistakes or “what went wrong” in ways that seemed to expect a specific corporate-style framework answer. The conversation kept circling back to the same theme multiple times, with little time spent validating depth in technical skills.

You don’t have the full requirements - how would you manage the risk?
The interviews went well. The difficulty level was easy to moderate. I had two interviews with LeetCode-style questions, one system design, and one behavioral. After going through all the rounds, I was ghosted by the recruiter.
They didn't even care to give me a rejection after going through the final round of on-site interview.
