I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ByteDance (Manila, Manila) in Sep 2024
Interview
Chaotic. The interview was help via call and the interviewer inside the production floor that is very noisy and is using a wired earphones with poor internet connection. It was hard to understand some of their questions and they tend to get distracted by their surroundings, yet they complained that they can't clearly hear me. They also often stop to take down notes, making the interview call longer than necessary. I was asked repetitive questions because the interviewer was not focused. The follow up questions are not related to your previous answers. Instead, the order of questions seems to be based on their list. The questions are all over the place like the follow up question (11th question) is for the 2nd question.
It is very seamless , knowledge check is done which will check your knowledge about the process and role and then if you pass there will be a manager and Hr round
