Two different interviews very quick and to the point with the hiring process, asked about fashion and scheduling availabilities. From there it was maybe two weeks later and I accepted the job.
I applied online. I interviewed at Dillard's (Glendale, AZ) in Jan 2026
Interview
I attended two interviews at the Arrowhead / Glendale AZ location. The first was a panel interview that included three candidates and was made awkward since the interviewer was not the person I was scheduled to meet with and they seemed inexperienced with interviewing candidates. The second interview was a one and one interview with a manager that seemed to go well until the first interviewer from the panel interview returned and took over to include walking the sales floor. They asked me a series of strange questions and made a number of false assumptions about my application career goals, experience and job preferences. I followed up by email and phone several times but was ghosted. After over a month of not receiving a response I withdrew my application.

Interview
This was before COVID, so I'm not sure how the process is conducted now, but it was a very comfortable interview. I left with being offered the job, which I accepted, and being signed up for the next Training class.
