Initially applied online and was contacted on the phone by a FedEx rep. The phone call just confirmed that I had a valid driver's license and that I wasn't a felon. A week later I was interviewed in person at the local Louisville facility by the two managers (AM and PM). After typical, quick behavioral questions, I was sent to the Centennial facility to train truck driving for 1-2 weeks.
