I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Freddie Mac in Feb 2026
Interview
During the interview with the recruiter she forgot she is on camera and picked up the phone to text someone back, smiling at the phone screen. Could not answer basic questions about the position so she read off the job post instead. For example, the job required use of AI tools so I asked what they are using and she did not know. Read a couple of behavioral questions from a script. Informed me there may be a few rounds of interviews but they are figuring out the process at the time. I think the questions overall were average but the texting situation was off-putting.

Interview
There were two interviews: one with the team I would have been working with and one with the VP of marketing and VP of public relations. I was initially contacted for the position by a recruiter who set up both interviews.
