I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at KLA (Chennai) in Jun 2023
Interview
The difficulty remains average on coding rounds , more on the process of imaging, CV and linear algebra.Interview process is smooth but lengthy. Package remains good as well.Total of 1-2 coding rounds followed 1-2 rounds of technical foundations and managerial and one HR round.

Question 1
Coding round: Famous Island problem solved using simple DFS
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at KLA (Leuven) in Oct 2025
Interview
The application process starts with an HR screening. Followed by an interview with the HR. If successful, the HR forwards the CV to the hiring manager. If the hiring manager gives a go, a second interview is scheduled. In this interview, they mostly discuss your background and what you have done. They also ask questions regarding some of the projects you did and how you did them. If successful a third interview is schedules. This one is technical. Expect code debugging in C++, computer vision questions like convolution, filtering, and some math problems. Overall, the managers were very nice and respectful. The downside is that they take very long, and if you are rejected after 3 interviews, expect 2-3 months wasted.

Interview
Didn't prepare for a technical interview.
Asked about GAN architecture, and presented a problem where the generator outputs the same image over and over when it been fed different "noise".

first round is a screening with all technical questions related to image processing and computer vision.
about 2~3 weeks later is second round. Start with a technical presentation and 5 one on one interviews. Some are technical and some are behavioral. No hard coding problem.
