The interview process was one of the longest I had ever experienced - 3+ hours. The time was spent meeting a cross functional spectrum of prospective team members and leaders. Interview questions ranged from by-the-book to casual conversation. VHT's small company feel lends itself to strong personal relations amongst employees and strong teams committed to success. Thus, the X-factor or gut-feel plays heavily into the interview process. Regardless of your resume and experience, if you don't pass the "I can work with this guy/gal" test, you're in for an uphill battle. Let's say you make it through that battle - easily or not - the learning curve will be your next uphill battle. Fear not, and you will succeed. Embrace the unknown, trust in yourself because you were hired for the potential seen in you. Trust in your team because they have been there before and they know you have what it takes too. Be a sponge. Be resourceful. RTFM. Then ask questions, and don't stop until you get your answer - because your efforts will continue to drive VHT's leadership and success in the customer experience (CX) market.
