Spoke with a recruiter about my experience and skills. The recruiter was rude and condescending and made me feel like I was wasting their time. They accosted me for an honest answer and then when I elaborated they were even more hostile. They asked about skills that were not listed on the posting and when I had no experience with that topic they acted like I had no right to be applying for this position. A recruiter is the first impression of your company and it was shocking to have this person act this way. I wouldn't want to work with them or find out how other employees behave if this is interaction is acceptable.
