Describe your past experience with SAS
Asked about technical proficiency with the target system, low level questions with some attempted trick questions I.e. when you perform this action, what's the first thing that happens? To guage understanding of the level of technical knowledge and familiarity with the system. In-person interviews were primarily character based.
What is a time you failed in your career
A statement was made, "We work really hard..really hard here". It was obvious I was observed for my response.
Questions mostly about what kind of work was I looking for. Would I be interested in a contract position. What types of projects had I done in the past. How did I feel about working at a Children's Hospital.
The panel interviews were a series of targeted interview questions: tell me about a time when you had to meet a tight deadline
Tell me a time when you failed miserably at something and what you did to remedy the failure (or something to that effect). Targeted Selection is a behavioral interview style and if you're already at this stage, you've met the technical aptitude requirements. Now they need to feel out your personality.
How did you let someone go - how did you do it, how did you minimize the stress on the person and how did you handle it yourself?
I was asked about my Background, Experience, Was asked to describe a challenge and how I overcame it? SQL and SAS related questions were also asked.
