Venue staff are great, the real backbone of the organisation.

Their idea of Marketing is mindlessly reposting assets from promotors and bands to social. Half the marketing dept can be replaced by AI at any point as work is mindless and repetitive. Office culture is more important than the work. The “culture” is slow with many people doing a single job. Hard work is overlooked, it’s more important to “fit in”. Large meetings every week, over 20 people per meeting meaning everyone tunes out until their turn to speak and no time for discussion. Grown men having to sit on the floor due to no room in the meetings. Meetings are used for an info dump for the benefit of the head of marketing. Never a back and forth of ideas/creativity/support/feedback.

You can choose which shifts you'd like to do. It's a very simple job. Everyone is friendly and mainly among the same ages. It's not hard to get, best time to apply is Sep - Dec.

It's based on where there's a gig so you can go a whole month with only 1 or 2 shifts. The best times for multiple shifts is Sep - Dec.
