Pros
Overall Amerigroup NJ is a great company to work for. I worked there for 12+ years, they had good benefits and value employees as a company. Annual incentives and employee stock purchase plan, 401K matching.
Cons
The only issue is senior leadership is not paying close attention to what the VP of Provider relations is doing. Micro-managing and treating hard working people with no respect, People keep leaving the department and no one cares, they should take a look at why so many people who have 10+ years working for NJ plan are leaving. People are retiring, leaving or transferring to other plans, 10+ good employees leaving. They should pay close attention to that.
