Pros

Benefits package was great, but not nearly as great as US and Canada-based positions. Dev teams were awesome.

Cons

Too many layers of management, but it’s to be expected of a corporation. Very slow decidion making. Frequest restructurings which laid to many layoffs in recent years. Mysterious end-of-year review process and impossible to get a serious salary increase.

Pros

The work-life balance and the work are just great. Professional colleagues

Cons

None really at this point. There were layoffs that were hard on people but otherwise it is a great company

Pros

Great people. Good benefits. Remote work.

Cons

Trying not to be "sour grapes" as I was laid off yesterday. But, it's worth noting that in 7 years, the job got worse. Year after year. If it weren't for Revit & AutoCad subscription renewals, the AECO story at Autodesk would be very different. Promoting shiny baubles at AU or on LinkedIn while front line/customer facing employees bear the brunt of a patchwork of disconnected back end systems where data is impossible to find, a pricing structure based on fiction that clients hate, and an out of touch leadership team. Yearly changes in sales methodologies, bloated process, etc makes for a challenging work environment. Writing was on the wall 3 years ago- no more RSU's, no back fill to lost positions, more work, less chance to achieve success.
