Pros

- Excellent, smart, inventive coworkers (that are not given the ability to do their best) - Decent (but massively unequal between similar workers) pay - Fully paid health benefits (though the current provider is awful)

Cons

- Everything you read here about the CEO is true. He used to be awesome, but people like Musk rubbed off on him and now he's a spoiled rich kid who leads by fear and intimidation and decisions that make absolutely no business sense and he gets away with it because he was indeed successful the first 10 years and he's been on autopilot the last 10. - Yes men culture, the few higher ups under Matt are outside hires that do not challenge him and encourage him to do nonsensical things for our products - Everyone is afraid they will get fired for voicing their opinions - Coldhearted layoffs. After two rounds of insanely good buyouts, the remaining employees that were loyal had a surprise 16% workforce cut that was instant and for an incredibly low severance that was absolutely nothing compared to the buyouts - Likely nosediving financially due to bad legal actions, unimproved products and services, and so many of the best talents taking the buyouts or being laid off. Do not apply, run far far away

Pros

I think the team collaboration is the best one I have ever seen through my 11 years of career.

Cons

Sometimes, the company focus too much on quality and don't pay enough attention to speed.

Pros

I had the opportunity to work alongside incredibly smart, talented, and kind colleagues who were always willing to share their knowledge. The role offered diverse and engaging technical challenges working with a wide range of customers, most of whom were pleasant to collaborate with. The company provided excellent health insurance and 401k benefits, which I genuinely appreciated. The yearly travel for team meetups was a highlight. It created valuable opportunities for team building and strengthened relationships across the distributed team.

Cons

While unlimited PTO sounds attractive on paper, in practice it required careful coordination with team capacity and management, making it less flexible than expected. The culture inadvertently encouraged overworking, as people often forgot to actually take time off. Weekend on-call shifts, combined with a small team rotation, created real burnout risk. The most significant issue was the unexpected layoffs, which were extremely disruptive to team morale and productivity. The instability created by constant turnover ultimately became unsustainable and led to my decision to leave the company.
