Pros

I actually have a minute or two between calls

Cons

The computer locks anytime it's inactive for more than 10 minutes, and has to be unlocked twice to get back into the virtual desktop. So, if you're on break or lunch, you're going to go over trying to get back into the system even if you were back on time. The trainers tell you to come back at 12 minutes so that you're not late. So, you can't take your full 15 minutes minute break. If you go over on break time, or if you take a few minutes of personal time, you have to take that out of your total break time. Break times are also dependent on how many hours you work that day. 8 hours = two 15 minute breaks. If you work less, you get less break time. If you have already taken your two breaks, but you unexpectedly leave early, they recalculate your break time (that you already took) and it'll make it look like you're over your break time, even though you had no way to prevent that. They only give a 30 minute lunch, even if you work a 10hr/4day schedule.

Pros

Remote , that’s all I can say

Cons

• Extremely low pay for the amount of responsibility. $17 during training and $18 after licensing is not competitive for insurance work. • Unrealistic training timeline. Only about a week to study for the insurance exam, and if you fail they deduct $300 from your paycheck. • Constant monitoring. Having to keep your camera on during training and OJT feels excessive and uncomfortable. • Very heavy workload. Reps are expected to handle complicated auto policy questions, billing issues, and frustrated members all at once. • Many members are older and struggle with technology, which makes simple tasks take much longer while still being judged on call metrics. • Stressful environment with high expectations but very little support.

Thank you for sharing your experience and feedback. I appreciate you taking the time to highlight your perspective, and I’m glad you mentioned the flexibility of remote work. Foundever encourages open communication through several channels, including the MAX survey, daily pulse checks, daily training surveys, and our open door policy so we can continue learning and improving. For licensed roles, the company covers the cost of training and certification, and the reimbursement agreement related to those expenses is explained and acknowledged prior to employment so expectations are clear.
