Pros

It's a job that pays the bills

Cons

Too many unqualified managers who have tunnel vision and have no idea what they are doing or who is doing what...nor how to enable their team. Little to no recognition for going above and beyond. They play favorites to whoever is in their ear the most, shouts the loudest or curry favor.

Pros

GF has locations around the globe that encompass 3 very unique and different cultures (US, APAC and EU). If you must work at GF, go APAC or EU. Regardless of job role, if you are smart and have a bit of business acumen you can choose your own path. Leadership gives deserving employees ample freedom to deliver results via many different methods.

Cons

Low comp vs industry. Firm has recently felt like it values young, cheap labor over more costly experienced labor. The $ belt has been tightening over the years and is only getting tighter moving into 2026 and beyond. Not much “fun” to be had when all activity / decisions are $ dependent.
