Pros

Some of the racks worked?

Cons

I've worked for Tires Plus, Christian Brothers, Honest One, Express oil change and tire engineers, two different Chevy dealerships, Honda, and Tesla. There's a very simple test I do at the beginning and that is to appear weak. Its something I learned sleeping outside. Evil can not resist. I listen to everyone and watch their body language and feed into their ego a little and wait and see what they do. Not a single person passed the test. Every individual took their own opportunity to make themselves look better. I applied for a mid level technician position because im in school. Instead of taking the promotion to lead, their current mid level decided to not too. The third day there I had already moved my box out and brought to another job. Talked into coming back and giving them a chance, didnt last another 3 weeks. I even did the right thing and let them know I was looking for another job and would put in a notice so they would have plenty of time to fill the position and they couldnt even do the right thing on the way out and see it through. Which I was hoping for the day I let them know, but at least I didnt have to keep on sticking around.

Pros

The most horrible experience I ever had

Cons

I am extremely disappointed and frankly outraged by my experience with the Goodyear location in Simpsonville, South Carolina. I had a scheduled job interview at the Simpsonville branch, arrived on time, and waited for 30 minutes. No one came out to speak with me. No explanation. No apology. No acknowledgment. As a potential employee, I was treated as if my time had zero value. This is not just unprofessional — it reflects a complete lack of respect and basic organizational integrity. If this is how the Simpsonville location treats prospective team members, it raises serious concerns about the internal management culture of that branch. To Goodyear’s corporate leadership: your Simpsonville operation is damaging your brand. The behavior I experienced suggests either severe mismanagement or deliberate negligence. It gives the impression of a corrupt or sabotaging local administration that is actively harming the company’s reputation through incompetence and disregard for basic professional standards. This experience has permanently changed my perception of Goodyear as a company. I can no longer view the brand with trust or respect, and I will be reconsidering any future purchases of Goodyear products as a direct result of this treatment. I expected professionalism. What I received was silence and disrespect. This is unacceptable.
