Pros

Culture is good amongst the employees. Most people understand we are all people and get along well. Employees are generally able to separate business from personal.

Cons

Gulfstream in the last 2 years has had a hiring freeze for engineering, causing many employees to leave and teams to be strained for the last two years while shuffling and promoting upper-level management. Overtime for salary employees has been removed; we are required use personal vacation to cover days Gulfstream is closed and will not be operating (what should be holidays). Pay is not competitive anymore for mid-career employees.

Pros

Enjoyed the work, my team, and my supervisor. Everyone was willing to help when I started the job, and they were happy for me when I found a new role.

Cons

Large companies can come with their own set of red tape and issues, but the pros outweigh the cons

Pros

Brand attracts top out-of-state talent and those with niche knowledge

Cons

Underused talent and repetitive work. Inefficient operations across the company. Long-timers tend to reinforce outdated approaches to work and biases toward women. Weak leadership and HR that protects the company more than employees.
