Pros

Pay is alright. Benefits are pretty good. Dress code is technically business casual, but you’re in a cubicle on the phone all day, so you can get away with more casual attire. Kitchen/ break area has snacks and keuregs. Most coworkers are alright.

Cons

If you start out doing a later (evening) shift, even if they tell you you’ll get an earlier one, don’t expect it ANYTIME soon. Supervisors have a good heart, but hands are tied by corporate greed and obsession with metrics as opposed to actually caring for the members. Auto dialer sounds simple enough, but it’s a big reason I do not like this job. Even though we don’t sell anything, the company makes money off of prescription change requests started, so there is a lot of pressure to create them, even if it’s not a good fit for the member and the member is hesitant and leaning towards not interested. You can go above and beyond in your work, and they’ll find some way to screw you over or tell you you’re doing worse than you actually are. They are going to start implementing a new phone software system that utilizes AI, which is a recipe for disaster.

Pros

Decent benefits, Remote-ish company with options for hybrid for those who want it. 401k matching is okay and tuition reimbursement (5k cap per year) is a decent perk.

Cons

The pay is pretty terrible. They're committed to never pay above 50th percentile for any role unless they're desperate. Also requires you to live in a hub area even if your work is fully remote and they won't offer reimbursement to move between hubs. Internally, there's a lot of chaos and lack of direction. Management can hear "I really don't recommend this plan of action" and be presented empirical data as to why from every level and they just do it anyway, then face no repercussions when everything falls apart and pretend they had zero warning. And despite being "tech-oriented" their tech solutions are pretty terrible because they don't actually invest in the parts of tech that make tech work. Their company mottos are also all fluff. They will boast how they're helping patients and then announce they're shutting down programs for at-risk patients who cannot access their meds any other way because it no longer fits their "direction" for the future.
