Peers and direct managers are great to work with. Degree of work ownership is great! And you do learn a lot and get a lot visibility about the impacts of your contributions or impacts of business decisions on your team. That's a really rare experience for anyone these days.
Cons
Company also doesn't prepare employees for future ventures, preferring a fail upwards approach in employee growth over properly growing employees in order to meet compressed deadlines and burning out employees in marathon "sprints"
