Pros

It’s a highly reputed and prestigious organization that isn’t easy to enter, given the level of trust, high standards, and government clearance required. The work involves mission-driven projects and collaboration with diverse teams supporting complex local and global defense and government program initiatives.

Cons

Adherence to strict processes and protocols, including structured environments that require detailed time tracking and accurate, real-time accounting of work across multiple systems. Established workflows, and cross-functional collaboration with various teams, constantly ensuring compliance, efficiency, precision, and accountability in highly regulated settings.

Pros

There are good people who work there but there are not many pros to put here

Cons

Loads. I cant believe the company rated best employer until I came on here to find out this location has not had a review in over 3 years. H ere is the skinny. They have had a layoff every month in 2025 only to call back people within 2 weeks to ensure they get paid less. It is now union so manufacturing is now 4-10s. Salaried? You won't have to work the 4-10s if you find a buddy that is unethically sound to pull strings and if anyone questions it, they will be bullied to be silent. 4-10s for salaried people are only those who rub management wrong asking them to stop playing favorites. If you dont question status quo you might be lucky and get a work from home exeception when you dont need it. Need to take FMLA? Make sure you lawyer up. They will retaliate for taking it. Take a close look at data metrics, then ask for the real one. Data is often suppressed to show only the things we want to talk about not what we need to talk about. There is literally no flexibility what so ever, unless again you know where the bodies are buried. If you are female, this isn't for you. You cannot tell people where you work or what you do in fear it will be labeled DEI activity. You also wont get promoted but that male colleague who ia less qualified and does half the work will. If you think there is HR, think again. They are less reliable than an AI kiosk. Literal no training and you are told to train yourself in outside programs you have to pay for. Culture problems galore with no accountability. This used to be one of the best places to work. LM isn't all bad. SOF GLSS has a damaged reputation and has been in dumpster fire mode since 2025. There is nothing good i can say about wage and benefits. They are behind market value and offer non competitive benefit packages. There is no movement in opportunities. In order to work here you must become complacent in every aspect.
