      Who wouldn’t love working for a performing arts center?!

      Simple — Megan Riegel. She is abusive on every level — and the board won’t lift a finger to help employees.

      Pros

      Downtown Greenville Visually appealing office aesthetic Lots of money tossed around Co-workers quickly connect Accepting of all lifestyle types and ethnic diversity in leadership roles

      Cons

      Poor communication. Everyone lives/works in fear. A job here will be your life, as it will consume you. Verbal abuse is common. Extremely High Turnover Rate. Management rules as dictator and turns on a whim. Impossibly high standards with no support or goals based in reality. Asked to do "A" on Monday and berated publicly for completing "A" on Tuesday is a common scene, and since it's an open floorplan everyone is there to witness your humiliations. Threat of dismissal used as motivator to incite performance.

      Pros

      There are no benefits to this company. You can never truly trust any of your colleagues. It is a mine field of mind games.

      Cons

      The CEO is driven by madness. She will change her mind on you on a daily basis. She rules by fear and she does it on a hour by hour basis. She plays games and loves doing it. Her management style is disrupt, chaos, and backstabbing. The amount of turnover is shocking for any company yet an arts organization.
