The recruiter was very responsive and helpful. The coding screening was conducted through a website, without any live interaction. While the question itself wasn’t particularly difficult, the amount of code required to solve it was too much for a 30-minute timed interview (100+ lines of code), especially without anyone available to clarify the problem.

Application
I applied online. I interviewed at UiPath (Bucharest, Bucuresti) in Feb 2026
Interview
The interview was nice. We discussed my CV, including my projects, future ideas, and passions. At the end, I was given a coding task where I had to identify mistakes in a Java multithreading scenario.
My interview process at UiPath began with a recruiter screen where I discussed my background and experience. After that, I will be moving to a 60-minute virtual technical interview, which included a live coding session via HackerRank followed by a technical discussion with a team engineer. The questions focused on data structures, problem-solving, OOP principles, concurrency concepts, and system-level thinking, along with a conversation to assess alignment with UiPath’s engineering culture and values.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One of the key things the recruiter asked me was how my experience aligns with UiPath’s mission and values—especially around AI and automation. They really wanted to understand not just my technical background, but also why I was specifically excited about UiPath and how I see myself contributing to their vision.
