Interview
This was one of the most awkward interviews I have experienced. The interview lacked professionalism throughout, and the responses to my questions were vague and demonstrated limited knowledge.
While the initial questions were straightforward, the concerns arose when I asked questions toward the end of the interview. The answers provided were unethical in nature and conveyed the impression that employees are viewed as replaceable rather than valued.
As a result, I declined any potential offer. I am not willing to work for a company that does not prioritise or genuinely care about its staff.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Yves Saint Laurent in Oct 2023
Interview
The DM took very little interest in the interview process. - as a seasoned retail leader I left feeling very discouraged by the lack of substantial questions I was asked, more lifestyle questions were asked about what I did outside of work which was irrelevant. Follow up didn’t exist- two months later I received an email asking if I was interested in an assistant store director role for the same location which was not only out of the blue but no longer timely.
