Great hospital, good patient ratios (1:4-5) on med surg floors. Usually pretty staffed with CNAs.

Lack of resources at night

St. Joseph did pay well for me having less than a year of labor and delivery experience however now that I have been with company for over two years I have never once seen a bonus, raise, or increase of any kind

New ownership of the hospital is awful they only care about the money. The unit has lost a manager, CNO, and interim manager due to issues with the new company. This is definitely not the place for new grads. We haven't had an educator in YEARS. If you are new to specialty or a new grad nurse, you're literally better of going anywhere else other than SJMC!
