Pros

I worked here for almost 2 years and the only thing I can mention as a pro, was the day I went out from this truly horrible company which is led by a team of oafish and wannebe board people and owners.

Cons

The company owners are harassing, bullying and lying to it´s staff. Massively understaffed and as a result reveneus are decreasing constantly. People are put under extreme pressure. WORK for LESS. They suck you out and dont give anything on the people who work for them. No overtime payment!! Just unrealistic targets, yelling all day long, questionable financial practices and a lot of inconcistencies across the whole business. Clients are being ripped off wile contracts are being signed with client expectations that can not be met. A truly horrible place. Don´t ever consider working here.

Pros

Racked my brain for at least one....got nothin.

Cons

Where to begin... I worked for this horrific excuse for a company for a year before I realized that Chinese water torture actually CAN drive a person insane. To start, the "management" (I use this term as loosely as possible) is comprised of a group of inept, calculating, corrupt family members who are all involved in the scheme to keep money with the family, and literally rob their employees of earned compensation. This is a true story: I was owed over $8,000 in commissions during Q1 of the year following my date of hire. I received a call from my manager three days before commissions were to be paid, and was asked if I had called a contact from one of my large accounts. I said yes, several months back I had checked in with her, and everything was running along smoothly (and that account had grown by 30% over said time). I was then told that this is "not enough", so my commissions would not be valid - no pay. It gets better. The idiots in accounting, payroll, HR, wherever actually deposited $6,200 into my account after I had been told I'd get nothing. I called my manager and thanked him for rectifying the confusion. He THEN tells me "Oh no...no, that was a mistake. The money will be retracted." But wait - there's more! The money POSTED to my account, and 6 days go by. The following Thursday, they literally went in and pulled POSTED money out. How they did this, I have no idea. I've since sought legal action, but if you're thinking of doing so, don't bother - the family has been sued so many times, they have a small army of attorneys that will stop at nothing to win. Not worth having to pay attorney fees for a losing battle. In conclusion, unless you are a glutton for punishment, don't even THINK of working here. Living in a cardboard box on the side of the road would be better than subjecting yourself to the disaster that is thebigword.

Pros

Water is an expensable item during business travel, which does not count against your per diem. No other pros to list.

Cons

Executive Management are supremely confident business schmucks, who have one goal - keep as much money "in the family" as possible. They are arrogant enough to not listen to the advice of the employees doing the work for them, and quick to react to losing their clients by firing staff. The rate of turnover in both sales and operations is significantly higher than their competitors, and the opportunities for career growth are non-existent. Senior Management is made up of followers, who are afraid to speak out with ideas that do not align to the family goals. Company goals and objectives are not socialized with the broader organization, and there seems to be no strategic plan. Most decisions are made on the fly and in a reactive fashion. Most times it feels like total chaos, with no plan other than dealing with the latest fire, which is typically of their own making. After two years of development, their Translation Management System has still not been delivered, has fewer working features than their old system, and is far behind competitive solutions in the market. There is no marketing plan to support increased sales; the formula for success is to scare the sales team to action with Performance Improvement Plans and threats to terminate. Leads are expected to be self-generated, or mined from the outdated, homegrown CRM solution. The overall sales culture is one of fear and intimidation, spear-headed by the Board and Executive Management.
